THE PENDANT:

This statuesque Kachina pendant is displayed with a hand selected "Sampler" pick of chunky sized cuts of natural Royston turquoise that come with various shaped cuts to create it's funky southwestern look! The beauty of using a sampler selection is for one,gives you some of the best contrasts of color through out & 2,with this particular one,you get a sample of the wide variety of color that the Royston mine produces, with this pendant being designed with teal greens, teal blues, deep forest greens,khaki greens,to the large blue cut you see in the lower body! Many of the cuts have that very earthy brown matrix known to the mine!

In photo 2 the pendant is shown with Sandra Zambrano's 9 mm-26" Navajo Pearl necklace & in photo 3 & 4,it's shown with her 11 mm Navajo pearl necklace. Personally I would not go greater than an 11-12 mm bead, since you don't want to lose the integrity of the metal by opening it too too much. If you're skilled at working with metal you can do this yourself with a pair of needle nose pliers or you can take it to a reputable jeweler. Because of it's size, this will look better with at least a 24" or longer necklace.(Shown with a 26") Giving you my professional opinion, this size does not look good when worn on a 18" or 20" necklace.
