THE PIN/PENDANT:
Displayed in a HUGE 5" X 5" circular form, is the "Shooting Beams From the Heart" pin/pendant. Seeing all the beautiful iridescent colors that this gorgeous colored shell oozes, the light diffraction effect that Abalone offers , makes it hard NOT to be captivated by its beauty!! Its has a true rainbow medley of some of the most intense colors! And because of all it's color,makes it the perfect choice to wear with just about anything from your wardrobe, since you can pull from any of it's colors!!
Shooting out from the heart's center, are long linear cuts that are capped off by evenly sized round cuts on the tips & it's these long linear cuts that create the rays & dictate the massive size! Looking at the backside photos ,you'll see that this can be worn as a pin OR a pendant. .It has a shepherds hook connection and if you wear this as a necklace, (& with ease) you can take some needle nose pliers & open it up to the size you need to accommodate the diameter of the necklace..If you use it as a necklace, remember sterling is soft, so you want to open the hook with ease since you don't want to use force! If you wear it as a pin,this would work better on a heavier material. I would not pin it to any delicate/thin like fabrics.(Like silk) And lastly, from my professional opinion,this size would look better when brought away from the neckline,so it would look best when worn with a 26" necklace.(or longer- Shown with a 28" length in photo 2) This size does not look good when worn on a 18" or 20" necklace.
