THE PENDANT:

This statement sized pendant is made with large emerald cut chunky sized- old faceted Russian cut crystals that Federico has had in his collection for some years now, but the pendant was made more recently..

Each cut was hand selected for their size & color, which I would call a “light smoky gray” color. Each are emerald cut & each are faceted.. Emerald cuts generally have 57 facets, so you'll see flashes of light in the emerald cut because of the linear, straight facets. If you zoom in on the last photo (back side), you see how the backs were left open so there would be no obstruction for light to come through.

The tapered bale opening has a 12 mm opening, but you do not want to put it on anything larger than say, an 11 mm diameter, since you want the pendant to be able to move on the strand. As far as what length necklace to wear this with, I would keep it on the longer side and wear it with a necklace from a 24” length and longer, because of it’s chunky statuesque size. But that’s your call!
