TWIN PEARLS:
These aquatic "precious gems" come in so many fascinating shapes and sizes, but none are quite like the "Conjoined Twin Pearl." Twin pearls form when an oyster produces two pearls at the same time, which are exceptionally rare and are a highly unique type of pearl. These naturally formed pearls are unique for the fact that they start forming as two separate pearls which then fuse together, which effectively enhances their charm. Their fascinating shape can actually remind you of a little snowman, with a whimsical, organic symmetry that makes each one truly one-of-a-kind! Twin pearls are generally more rare than single Akoya pearls because they are more finicky and fragile during farming.
THE NECKLACE:
Designed in an elegant, elongated 36” length, this piece showcases the beauty of three distinct types of pearls. Each pearl was carefully hand-picked for their pearl type and approximate size, then one by one are bezel-set to create a refined, understated, yet sophisticated design.
In the neckline there are 17 smaller-sized twin pearls (for a total of 34) that serve as the anchor for the Sun/Starburst–designed pendant. Both the twin pearl neckline and the pendant are joined with “O” rings to allow for movement, making the piece flexible and easy to fold for travel.
The non-detachable pendant features linear-shaped Japanese Biwa pearls, prized for their rich, natural texture—one of the few pearl types to display this distinctive surface. Extending to the tips are small baroque pearls, added to enhance the overall visual interest and balance of the design.
Simple enough to wear to the office, yet elegant enough for the Bride-to-Be, Mother of the Bride, or any guest attending a wedding.
Pair it with any of my pearl jewelry—available throughout the site in a variety of styles and categories. I also offer colored gemstone and pearl combinations (amethysts, garnets, and more), Spiny Oyster with pearls, Azurite with pearls, Turquoise with pearls, or you can choose an all-pearl look—whatever suits your style!
PLEASE NOTE WHAT PRICING IS BASED ON
Factored into the price for this necklace is the artist’s name and reputation, the number of carats and the cost per carat and or the price for each pearl. Also included is the need to compensate the artisan (And or staff) for the time and expertise required to create the piece. These are just some of the elements that together explain and contribute to the higher final price of this necklace.

PLEASE READ BEFORE PURCHASING:
To give you close up photos, pictures tend to make the item look much more larger & everything is more magnified than in actuality. Close up's make the item look so large & then you get it in hand & you are shocked since the item is much smaller than how they looked in the photos.. So to get an accurate idea of how big this is, please either check it out being worn to get a rough idea (photos) or you can pull out a tape measure & compare to my given measurements.
