The jewelry designs that come from the Mazahua artisans in the Teluca area of Mexico,were deeply influenced from the jewelry that was brought into Mexico by the Spaniards during the 1500's.They brought with them many of their designs,with many becoming a popular mainstay,where the designs continue being produced today.
