THE EARRINGS:
These beautifully made cluster dangle earrings are made in a moveable three‑tier design that allows graceful, fluid motion. All the abalone shell was instinctively hand‑chosen for their outstanding, vibrant coloring and carefully selected so the cuts can be as closely matched from one earring to the other.
The round tops literally explode with these vivid, brilliant, intensely saturated colors and remind me a bit of New Zealand Paua shells (sometimes called “sea opals”), which are celebrated for their intensely iridescent rainbow hues. They feature the most vibrant deep periwinkle blues, electric lime greens, and mauvey pinks and purples. If you zoom in on especially photos 4 and 8, you’ll notice one top displays the deep periwinkle and lime tones, while the other leans more toward mauvey pinks that assert themselves as the dominant color.
Anchored from those is a 1.50” round floral cluster that literally shows just about every color in the rainbow, which makes it a very versatile material .The advantage you have when you wear abalone, is that it allows you to coordinate with just about any color in your wardrobe, because of its wide array of colors!!.
The somewhat free-form linear dangles are well matched on both earrings, and although these have the least color throughout the earring, they display the most beautiful, almost metallic creamy ivory shimmer that catches the light wonderfully. All the abalone is securely set in a contemporary mirror polished finished sterling.

PLEASE READ BEFORE PURCHASING:
Federico is not one to skimp on his materials, nor on sterling, and he definitely gives you some serious proportions. With that said, these fare made with a generous amount of sterling, so they are substantial and have good amount of weight. (Over an ounce for each earring!!)
So for those of you that can’t tolerate any weight on the ear, I do want to let you know that as I write, I actually have another pair that are presently being made into a clip on earring. So please keep checking back.

Everyone is having to charge more because of this, which is being passed on to me & then unfortunately passed onto you. It’s factors such as this, that are reflected in the price for these.
Also factored into the price for these, is the artist’s reputable & long standing name in the industry, his reputation and years in the business, the number of carats and the cost per carat for the materials used.. Also included is the need to compensate the artisan (And or staff) for their time and expertise required to create these.
