Using an array of four distinct Spiny Oyster cuts that shape the overall figure, these chunky stones were selected not only for their substantial size but also for their vibrant orange color that enhance the precise form. Each oyster shell is bezel-set on an oxidized front face, a finish that makes the vibrant orange tones truly pop and come to life, while the backside and outer edges of the bezels are polished to a contemporary mirror-like sterling finish for a refined contrast.

Weighing more than your average cuff & even many southwestern necklaces, there was no possible way these would ever be considered making them in a post earring since they’re made with a overly generous amount of both shell & sterling ! .(Notice the 4.41 OUNCE weight below, which are the heaviest earrings we have ever stocked of his!)

PLEASE READ: I do want to mention, that because of the generous portions of both Spiny Oyster & sterling, Federico’s clips on’s can even sometimes want to slip because of the heavy weight. So even though the clip mechanism is as tight as they can go, my personal remedy for fixing this, is to take “Flexible clear surgical tape (I prefer Nexcare 3M ) & rip a somewhat small piece & then roll it so it becomes ‘double sided’..This will then stick on the back of the earring & against your ear. (You don’t want to cut any bigger than the back of the earrings top) Once you rolled the tape to become double sided, you will then stick that on the backside of the top & the earrings now are secure & won’t want to fall off the ear! You will be the only one who knows the tape is there! I do this with earrings that are weighty or if the clip has loosened.

I find orange however is the toughest color to photograph to achieve an accurate-true coloring, since I don't want them to be too vibrant or any less vibrant! Photographing anything with 'yellow' in it, (orange's and green's) can come up a little more vivid, so please take this into consideration. I photographed these in front of 2 different colored backdrops, so please go through all photos to see ANY variation.

To give you close up photos,pictures tend to make the item look much more larger & everything is more magnified than in actuality. .So to get an accurate idea of how big these are,please either check them out being worn to get a rough idea (photos 2 and 9) or you can pull out a tape measure & compare to my given measurements
