Everything about these, screams "Elegance"! They are stunning on the ear & are simply delicious!
From top to bottom the design is based on all of the tear drop cuts which dictate their tear drop shape.(See all photos) Dominating the earring are cuts of natural gem quality Sleeping Beauty turquoise in the drop & dangling within the drop, is a cut of Pilot Mountain turquoise on one earring (With the brown matrix) and a cut of Morenci turquoise on the other.
At the very top,they have some killer blue cuts that have a high dome and are a beautiful baby blue color and even though we associate turquoise with having no matrix to Sleeping Beauty turquoise, I however, do not believe them to be from that mine. I am not quite sure which mine they came from,but what I think that the lapidarian did when they were being cut, is that they cut the turquoise from an area where it didn't have matrix. They do look to be an Arizonian turquoise.
These aren't too bad on the ears,but for some they might have a little weight, so please read the weights below to make sure your ears will be comfortable before purchasing.
