DESRIPTION:

Regardless of the ring’s 2-5/8” height, one of the first things you’ll notice the moment you hold this piece, is the hefty, generous amount of weight it carries. This signature weight is known to Federico’s jewelry, weighing just over 3 ounces!!

The large 1-3/8” x 1-3/8” center Heart cut serves as the striking focal point from which the entire design radiates; that heart alone played a key role in determining the arrangement and selection of the green cluster stones that surround it.

The heart and a number of the surrounding clusters come from the Royston mine in Nevada, while the top, richly deep green stones were pulled from the Manassa mine in Colorado. A few blues were deliberately added into the cluster design and appear to be Tibetan turquoise—one of Federico’s favorites, prized for its teal-blue hues. Because each mine produces slightly different colors, and because this ring combines three distinct turquoise tones, the result is a beautifully dynamic contrast that gives the piece its remarkable visual depth and character.

THE ADJUSTABLE BYPASS SHANK:
This is presently set at a size 7.. If you look at the last photo, you will see that the bypass shank is stamped in it’s entirety & is made of a tapered strip of sheet sterling that curls around & is made of heavy gauge sterling. If you need to go down in size, you can only go down say ¼ size, so this was really meant only to go up in size. If you need to go down, this is something you will have to ask your jeweler to do, since I don’t have the tools to bring it down in size. BUT, if you need it bigger, I can do this for you..(No more than say a 1-1/2 sizes)

With the gold and silver markets literally being out of control , they are at an all time high and are increasing daily! Unfortunately, artists, business owners are only being forced to raise their prices too. This was made during this price increase. The rising cost is directly reflected in what artists now must pay per gram or ounce for the metal.(Not to exclude the higher cost of materials!) Factored also into the price for these, is the artist’s name and reputation, the number of carats and the cost per carat. Also included is the need to compensate the artisan (And staff) for the time and expertise required to create the ring.
