RING PROVENANCE:

These 2 rings came through my store by a well known Santa Fe’an resident/collector and whose family has been here since the late 1600’s-1700’s and actually has a street named after them here in Santa Fe! These belonged to the mother for some decades now & were safely kept in a security box inside a bank, until they decided to sell off some of their pieces, since no one in the family thought they would wear them. That’s when I was recommended.

THE RINGS:

Both of these rings are designed the same way, by the same company and are made with the same turquoise. The factors that make them different is the slight difference in ring size & the slight difference in design.(Please view all photos)

They can be worn alone or, if you choose to buy both, they can be worn together. If worn as a pair, please note they don’t fit snugly like wedding bands and engagement rings that are designed to sit together as a matching set, due to their individual shapes. Also, if you have a sharper-profile ring to sandwich between the two, that may work as an additional accent, though it depends on the exact perimeter and profile of the third ring. I mention this so you’ll know what to expect if you decide to purchase both.

Made in a very simple, understated channel-inlaid design, these are designed with genuine Sleeping Beauty turquoise. If you zoom in on photos 14 and 15 (Size 5-3/4), you’ll notice a slight deepening in the stone’s color—something I pointed out in the listing. That subtle change helps validate the turquoise as natural, since stabilized or treated turquoise typically does not show this kind of color variation.
