THE NECKLACE/PENDANT:

There is nothing that takes Santa Fe 'couture' over the top, than the look of Pearls & turquoise! Fashionably elegant & mouth drooling delicious, this is a set that's made where you'll have choices as to how it can be worn. As is, 1) you can wear both the necklace & pendant together, 2) You can wear the pearl necklace alone for a more simple look, 3) If you have another big bale pendant that will fit over the strand, you can add another pendant of yours to it,4: wear the pendant with a strand of Navajo Pearls, turquoise beads or whatever else you have on hand.etc.

THE PEARL NECKLACE:

Designed with a contemporary ambiance, there are 50 chunky average sized 11.5 mm baroque pearls that dictate it's 29" long length. What is different about this necklace, is for the fact that these pearls are deliberately set to lay sideways, rather than forward. (See photos) The pearls sit in a high bezel & have a mirrored polished finishing. Each panel is connected by way of heavy gauge jump rings on the backside,so each are securely held! (See photo 8) It is made with an extremely generous amount of both pearls & sterling, which gives the necklace alone, a whopping weight at a 1/2 POUND!

THE TURQUOISE IN THE PENDANT:

Equally as appealing as the necklace, the turquoise cut comes from "Larry Cooley's turquoise collection & what Larry was known for, was having the FINEST collection of turquoise that were all mined long before they started treating turquoise & kept on hand, nothing BUT top notch-gem quality NATURAL turquoise. When Larry passed some years back, everyone wanted dibs on buying his whole collection,but because of Federico's connection to Larry, Larry's family offered Federico his AMAZING collection..Yes it was over the top in price, but worth every dollar & some of Federico's most beautifully designed pieces have Larry's turquoise.(This quality & huge size cut is dictated in the price)

THE PENDANT:

The turquoise is from the Nevada FOX turquoise mine & between it's lengthy size & the size of the pearls, is what dictated it's 4-5/8" long size! Surrounding the turquoise are some super chunky pearls & most have a natural pointed tip ,with many being pointed outward,which makes them look like the "Rays" of the sun! The pearls act as a halo for the free form cut of Fox turquoise & this cut alone is 2.50" long & has some serious carat weight to it! The quality of this one cut, you can't touch without putting some big bucks out,since it goes for a good price PER carat!
