This is made in a true Cleopatra style that lays wide in the lower neck/decolletage area & is made with a vintage USA "sampler" of turquoise that is made up of mostly Nevada turquoise & because of all the different tones that each mine offer,this is what lends itself to all the ultimate contrast it has!The overall color however is "Teal",but has blue tones in there,as well as greens.Some of the mines used are from the Blue Diamond mine,Blue Gem,Pilot Mountain,Royston mines..Many of the stones are filled with wonderful matrix patterns,with some having thick black lines to golden tan,while others have none..

I do want to mention that because of who owned this collection,as well as the time period the turquoise was mined,they of course come un-treated & natural,which adds to it's top notch-premium value..

It is made up square cuts throughout & 13 of the panels are designed with a 3 square cut drop that go from a small (on the inner perimeter),to a medium size,then larger on the bottom..The design then gracefully graduates to a 2 stone drop panel as it progresses up to the backside,where then the design is finalized with 5 single cuts per side..There is 1-1/2" of chain that can be used as an extender,so you can wear this at it's fullest length or a tad shorter..In design,for this necklace to lay right,the stones have to be accurately hand picked to match so to assure this.Each panel is connected by “O” rings for movement & will fold up nicely for travel!
