THE EARRINGS:

These super SWEET, highly feminine & beyond beautiful Oaxaca earrings, say what they have to say in their mesmerizing small setting. Made in a very wearable arracada style earring, these are completely made by the hands of one of Federico's top Oaxacan artisans for the shop.

Anchored from the 'flower within a flower' designed top, is however the real star of the show, where the crescent shaped arracada bottom is so skillfully & beautifully done & is like a mini work of art for the ears!! It's made with a scalloped perimeter of sterling & then soldered within this border, is the FINEST serrated filigree wire work you'll ever witness & is probably as fine as you can get the wire without losing the sterlings integrity!! The filigree literally looks like lace! Laying atop of the filigree is the serene beauty of the romantic Dove, as the little bird of love suckles on the triple floral-coral bead design.

Thanks to people like Federico who really was one of the 1st to bring Oaxaca jewelry to the forefront in the jewelry/fashion industry, is one reason why we are now seeing traditional Oaxaca jewelry being worn by women that live throughout the country that we never would have guessed, they'd be worn.. They've become fashionable in the most urban places & not just when we're wearing our embroidered Mexican/Oaxacan clothing!
