THE EARRINGS:

I can’t say this enough, but I truly believe there is nothing more sophisticated than a black and silver combo, especially when you're wearing predominantly black clothing! It is one of our personal favorites!

The onyx stones are packed tightly in a snug cluster design, thoughtfully arranged into a double floral drop motif. Their blackness is deep and intense—truly as black as can be and they appear even more striking since they are bezel set over a darkened, oxidized finish beneath, which makes them look emphatically “black, black.”

They are not too too long, but the drop is wide, because of the 2 outer round cuts of Onyx on the left/right sides of the drop.

These can go as casual as you wish, OR as elegant!! What you wear will allow them to go either way!

PLEASE NOTE:

For those who can’t tolerate even the slightest weight on the ear, please review the weights listed below before purchasing, since you don’t want to buy something too heavy that ends up pushed to the back of your jewelry drawer. I personally think they’re fine, but only you know what your ears can comfortably tolerate.

If you shop online, I suggest choosing a pair of earrings that are close to the upper limit of what you might find a bit heavy, then weigh them and compare that weight to these. We offer numerous earring listings (four distinct earring categories), so there are plenty of alternatives if these don’t feel right for you. In this same category there are also a couple of Onyx pairs that are smaller and lighter, though they are styled differently than these.

Not only have Federico’s prices increased, but the cost of sterling & gold have gone up in price as well and fluctuates on a daily basis. The pricing is dictated by the increasing cost for the materials. (And we all know Federico does not use skimpy tiny stones as a rule!) Also the cost is for Federico’s name and his decades old reputation in the industry.(He has paid his dues in the industry & is very much IN demand!) And lastly, included is the need to compensate Federico’s “on staff workers” for their time and expertise that’s required to make the earrings for Federico. These are just some of the elements that together explain and contribute to the higher final price of these earrings.
