These are sexy, very authentic Oaxacan earrings that are totally hand-fabricated from start to finish. There are many intricate steps to create earrings like these, from forming the repousse floral-detailed tops to shaping the precise circular forms. If you zoom in, you’ll notice an alternating finish: one area receives a textured “diamond cut” treatment while the next area is left smooth for contrast. Below the little detailed paloma love birds, sits the tiniest lacy filigree wire nestled within the hoop. The scalloped filigree wire is carefully wrapped along the perimeter and also serves as the anchor for the round Spiny Oyster shell cabochons, giving them a secure, elegant place to sit. The oyster shell helps to give them the look of Santa Fe that we love!!
