One thing Federico instinctually knows is which materials complement each other when paired together. That sensibility comes from years of practice and experimentation, since this skill doesn’t happen overnight — because you need a trained eye for balance and harmony, and a working knowledge of the color wheel, especially when you’re combining two or more colored gemstones. Pearls play a major role in many of his creations, and there are few combinations he hasn’t beautifully executed. When he chooses to use these God-given aquatic gems, whether set alone or artfully mixed with other materials, the results are consistently and literally stunning, evoking quiet elegance and lasting artistry.

THE CUFF:

Lusciously delicious and supremely elegant, Federico raised the bar with this cuff by taking these gorgeous Baroque pearls and pairing them with large, lustrous Abalone accents, elevating the duo to an even higher level of refined sophistication.

It’s designed in a three-panel layout, with the 2-1/2” wide center featuring a large, colorful round cut of abalone that is framed by a perfectly formed halo of tiny 3 mm round pearls just outside. On the exterior of this central panel, a double halo is created by using these chunky, irregularly shaped larger baroque pearls, that are all in their natural, God‑given form for organic texture and visual depth.

The side panels are designed with round abalone cuts that are just a tad smaller than the central piece. Along the sides sit even larger Baroque pearls (see photos 9, 10, 11), with tiny 3 mm pearls alternating between those larger pearls for a balanced look.

This cuff is quite heavy, so unless you’re someone who regularly deals in weights and understands what more than 6 ounces feels like, you really can’t imagine its substantial weight from shopping online. But believe me, this is one truly hefty, solid cuff!

SIZING:

This cuff is designed to fit a larger 7-1/8” wrist size, and specifically not only a wrist that needs a larger/wider ‘east-west’ interior circumference,(2-5/8”-see photo 12) but for wrists that have a bit more "flesh" or fullness, as the gap has an opening of 1-1/4 inches. A wider gap is generally more comfortable for someone with a little meatier wrist, while a smaller gap tends to suit skinnier wrists better. To determine if this gap opening is right for you, you can measure the gap on a cuff that fits you well and compare it to this one. This HAS to fit properly, since it cannot be adjusted.

So please know your wrist size before purchasing, since cuffs fit different than any other type bracelet & it is of extreme importance they fit right!
