THE CUFF:
Everything about this cuff says "PREMIUM & HIGH QUALITY"!! Between the unflippin unbelievable cut of gorgeous gem quality turquoise, to the weight of the cuff, then add all the hand made factor in, I really don't know what is better! It is a 'win-win' cuff in it's total entirety! It is Navajo jewelry and Leon at it's best!

The high domed cut of Royston is displayed inside a unusual bezel that you just don't see. Rather than your normal jewelry supply store kind bezel or one that comes pre-serrated, this one is made where Leon took actual 1/2 round wire & then sawed into it, thus creating a impressive hand made serrated bezel!

Helping to accent the turquoise, is an ornate display of thick gauge swirls of twisted wire & star conchos that line the top & bottom that were made by melting the sterling into little beads & then hand pounding & forming them into shape so they can then be hand stamped. The latter is a time consuming process, but this is the quality of workmanship you'll get with Leon, is the workmanship!

The design sits on a 6 wire split-heavy 10 gauge round wire shank that is spread to accommodate the centers size. The 10 gauge wire helps to makes this a solid & extremely strong, hefty feeling piece..At the terminals ends, you'll see how the wire is soldered together, forming almost a corrugated feel & between the gauge being already heavy & then being the wires are soldered together, makes it non-adjustable.(see photos 13,14,15)

This is hand finished with THE most drop dead 'Satin-Oxidized-Vintage Revival finishing that really makes the sterling come to life! It is simply beautiful & striking!!!

SIZING:

Sized for a man OR woman, this cuff is made for a larger size wrist that’s wider, but not so fleshy, since it only has a 1-1/8" gap. Because of the 10 gauge sterling Leon used, this would not be the easiest to adjust, but if you know how to adjust a cuff (without popping the stone or weakening the integrity of the sterling,) & feel confident enough to open the gap up a bit more, this can possibly be done. If you don't know how to do this, then I would take it to a reputable jeweler. But just know, by opening up the gap so it can then go over the arm, is the only thing that can be adjusted.. It does NOT change the 5-3/4" interior. It does help to know your wrist size & what gap your arm needs before purchasing, since cuffs fit different than any other type bracelet, so it is important they fit right!
