There is something so sophisticated when you pair onyx with sterling! It's like they belong together & one brings out the beauty of the other.They look phenomenal (and so sophisticated!) with just about any outfit,but especially when worn with black!!
Set atop of super hefty 12 gauge sterling, Al used 5 graduating oval cuts of black onyx that span across the top to around the sides of the wrist..The cuts sit atop of a fully tooled design in it's entirety..Awhile back Al dropped the gauge he's been working with & has gone from a 14 gauge to the 12 & you would be surprised just how much of a difference it makes,when it comes to the weight!! In fact,it's one of the 1st things you'll notice when you have this in hand,is the incredible weight it has! (See weights below) It feels extremely solid & is literally,non-destructible! Outside of each cut of onyx are traditional Native American hand made conchos(See photos) The cuts of Onyx sit low in their bezel, which is great for preventing any damage that can happen,say if the cabochons had a high dome.

THE FINISH:
Emulating a look as if aged,the sterling is finished in a oxidized-"Vintage Revival" finishing..This finishing gives it more of a 'Chiaroscuro' sort of contrast,with wonderful light/dark contrasting where the stamped design on the shank is accentuated by the oxidation that lays in the crevices.
It's a cuff that can be worn day or night & just like anything Al makes,this too, shows beautifully on the wrist!
