THE TURQUOISE:

Sonoran turquoise comes out of northern Mexico & actually took the USA by storm in fairly recent years & with it’s popularity, have had buyers aching to get their hands on any jewelry made with it. The beauty about Sonoran turquoise, is for the fact that it has various mines that have their own unique color/character. They host some of the most intense colors, that produce these deep intense greens to the most unreal vibrant blues ,to having polychromatic colors of both blue & green, which is what this cuff has!

THE CUFF

Lining the center that span to the curvature of the cuff, are 7 cuts of blue/green Sonoran Gold turquoise that graduate down in size as it nears the terminals.. The bezel secured cuts sit atop of a 10 gauge sterling shank that really gives some strength to this skinny cuff. Hand made little sterling beads are then accented between each of the stones.

THE FINISHING:

The 1/2” shank is made of 2 finishings.. While the area beneath the stones is heavily oxidized, the outer perimeter of the shank has more of a contemporary high polished finish. By leaving the oxidation beneath the stones & in the center of the shanks sides, brings contrast not only to the stones, but the tooling is more pronounced & accentuated.

SIZING:

This cuff is made for a small size wrist. Having a 7/8” gap opening which is great for a wrist that’s not "fleshy and meaty". Surprisingly for it’s skinny size, this is on the brink of being adjustable, but with “know how” or by a ‘reputable jeweler”. If you shop online, it’s always good to know what size cuff you wear, what gap opening you need, how much earrings should weigh, or even what size ring you wear. So with cuff’s, it does help to know your wrist size & what gap you need to go over the arm comfortably before purchasing, since cuffs fit different than any other type bracelet, which means they have to fit properly!
