Designed in a big, bold size with Federico’s signature look written all over it, this statement ring is guaranteed to make heads turn and have everyone oohing and aahing. If the size alone doesn’t command attention, then maybe the iridescent, shimmery, opal-esque colors certainly will, catching the light and drawing admiring glances from every angle.

Bezel set atop a substantial mass of sterling are 14 rectangular abalone cuts arranged in a halo cluster that beautifully frame and emphasize the large center stone. The abalone’s base tone reads as a soft taupe, yet when light catches the surface you’re rewarded with periwinkle blues and lime greens that seem to glow from within, revealing and amplifying the shell’s natural vibrancy. To help protect the abalone from the elements and to enhance its appearance, each abalone cut appears to have a thin resin-like coating that also adds a subtle extra shine.

THE BYPASS ADJUSTABLE SHANK:

The shank is done in a bypass style & is adjustable. It's presently sized at a size 9-1/4.. For me personally, I find that it's easier for me to adjust up in size by putting the ring on a ring mandrel & stretching it, than to go down in size. So if you need me to go up a 1 to no more than 1-1/2 sizes, (No more than) please let me know at the time of purchasing!!

If you need it smaller by a size or so, there are a couple ways you can go, the 1st. is: by using the “MOLESKIN” method, which will bring it down without the cost of a jeweler (See the 3 photos). You can get Moleskin at any drug store, super market & would be in the ‘Footwear” area. The Moleskin has an adhesive backing and what you’ll do is, remove the backing and then depending on the width of the shank, you’ll cut a piece to fit up in there & if one cut isn’t enough, then layer it again & repeat this process until it does. The ring will not work, if you’re trying to go from a 9-1/4 to a 6! The other method is: bringing it to a reputable jeweler and have them do this for you.

In the photos, I did not use any features when I edited the pictures that would give you a false color, but rather, what I did do, was turned the abalone toward the light so you can witness all the color that is naturally there.
