ABOUT THE LEFT HAND KACHINA:

The reversed Left-Hand Kachina is known for doing everything in opposite.This Kachina is said by some to be derived from the Hualapai Tribe who are actually a fairly small tribe & live near the Grand Canyon area of Arizona.. He carries his gear opposite from others, so he must use his right hand, rather than his left, to draw an arrow from the quiver.He is a hunter & survivor.

THE RING:
This one of a kind watercolor painting, is an impeccably painted & rare piece of art.. Normally you'll find the Left Hand Kachina in wood carvings & in large size paintings, but never on such a minuscule scale as this is, which personally,I think the artist deserves much more appreciation to be able to do this! Not every artist can work with their subject being so small & to do it with precision, is even more impressive!!

The painting was actually painted somewhere around the early 70's & then was made into a ring, fairly recently. The artist's depiction shows him with feathers on the side of his head, bare chested & wearing a spruce collar around his neck, along with a chunky turquoise beaded necklace on, bands on his arms, concho belt, a re skirt & red moccasins. The arrow is in his left hand. I am not sure of the material he's painted on.The outlines are EXTREMELY fine & may have painted this with a brush that has only a hair of 2..The lines are that fine!!

The sterling finish, I would call contemporary & the shank is made to be adjustable. As is, it's size at a 7-1/2 & once purchased, I can go up a size or so for you if you like.(No more than)
