ABOUT VINCENT:
Born in Albuquerque in '58 & grew up on the Navajo reservation of To'hajiilee,(Canoncito Band of Navajos) 30 miles west of Albuquerque..His parents/grandparents were silversmiths before him,he was taught by his Mother & still uses tools passed down to him by his ancestors.

One thing Vince knows how to do is to create jewelry that is rich in Southwest Navajo appeal.He is known for his incredible stamp work where he works in all sterling & rarely do you see his work with colored stones.Stamping sterling is his 'art form' & creates pieces where they end up being one of a kind,since no 2 are stamped the same! It takes precision,accuracy & a good eye to do what he does,when he strikes the stamp on to the metal.

THE RINGS:
Simply said in a round concho form,these are made with a domed center & then the appropriate stamps are then used that follow the scalloped perimeter form.Both of these rings are made in his signature "Satin/Brushed/Matte finishing & the great thing about this finishing is for the fact that you won't have to pull out the polishing rag!

He made these to where the shank can be are adjusted(Up or down),since the shank is not soldered on one side. I find that these can easily go up about 1-1/2 sizes,which if you like,I can do,but if you need to go down in size,I would rather the buyer do that. Let me know at time of purchase!

These will pair well with any of Platero's other pieces or anything with a rich oxidized finishing! You can complete your Santa Fe look by wearing lots of Navajo Pearls!
