RING PROVENANCE

This killer looking & very huge cocktail style ring was brought to me by my friend here in Santa Fe who inherited her mother's vintage gold items after her passing.

The story goes: "That while in the diplomatic service in the 1950´s, my parents were posted mainly overseas & my mom would buy many pieces of jewelry while in Russia, India, Poland, as well as other places in the world where the job took them". My friend did share, that her mom would always go to the best shops that each city had to offer.

CONDITION: EXCELLENT-WELL KEPT-PRONGS/TIPS LOOK GOOD-NO CHIPS,CRACKS. BECAUSE THE SHANK IS THIN, THERE IS A LITTLE BEND (SEE RIGHT SIDE AT THE BOTTOM- IN PHOTO 8) IN THE SHANK. UNFORTUNATELY I DO NOT HAVE THE TOOL ON HAND TO FIX THIS, BUT CAN EASILY BE BROUGHT BACK TO IT’S PERFECTLY ROUNDED CONDITION BY A REPUTABLE JEWELER. THIS SLIGHT BEND HOWEVER, DOES NOT EFFECT WEAR!
