PIN’S PROVENANCE:
This unique piece arrived at my Santa Fe store from a well-known Native American jewelry collector who was downsizing their impressive collection. It was already extremely old when they first acquired it, making it a true vintage treasure.
THE PIN:
Designed with some exquisite blue/teal colored “Blue Gem” vintage turquoise, this striking stone was carefully used for the abdomen and wings of the design. When you hold this pin in your hand, you can immediately notice the deep character it has developed over the years—an unmistakable sign that it was worn with much love and pride, likely on a daily basis. (Please refer to the “condition” section below for more details.)
This versatile pin can be attached to your wardrobe, a favorite hat, a purse, or anywhere else you choose to add a touch of timeless elegance.

CONDITION: Very Wearable Condition-The pin has maintained it straight form & works like new. Turquoise cuts are not loose, but on the serrated bezels, some of the teeth have worn down & are missing., which is quite common for a piece that was worn as much as this one was & is this old!!. They are however secure in their serrated bezels,. There is a natural patina development. ** It is not recommended you take this off **. I do not know what kind of household habits any previous own had,etc.
HALLMARK: None - But what is marked in fine detail is “6.00”!! (The price back then? Not sure! See photo 5)
