SPECIFICS:
ARTIST: Unknown
TRIBAL AFFILIATION: Zuni Pueblo, NM
CIRCA MADE: 1950 (Give or take)
STONE: Turquoise
CUTS: Round-Pear
BEZEL: Serrated
MEASUREMENT: 2-1/8" Round
WEIGHT: 16.2 Grams
METAL: Sterling (Professionally tested 2X's)
FINISH: Darkened naturally developed patina
CONDITION: Very Wearable Condition-The pin has maintained it straight form & works like new. Turquoise cuts are not loose, but on some of the serrated bezels, show a little wear, which is quite common for a piece that was worn as much as this one was & is this old!! Some are worn down & some of the ‘teeth’ are missing. They are however secure in their serrated bezels,. There is a natural patina development. ** It is not recommended you take this off **. There is some I do not know what kind of household habits any previous own had, etc.
HALLMARK: There is an “R” etched on the back(See last photo) & I can’t say if this is an actual hallmark, because back in the day, the owner of the item would etch their initials, their SS#,& any other forms to identify it, in case of loss, theft, etc. Also etched in fine detail is “$19.50”!! (It was so fine I couldn’t photograph it!)

PLEASE READ BEFORE PURCHASING:
*****I do not consider myself a 'professional photographer" but I do try to give you photos that are 'realistic in color.. Please understand that all screen monitors are different, so the materials can look brighter (or duller) ,more intense or less intense from one computer/phone to the next.
In order to give you close up photos so I can provide you with all the detail, the photos can tend to make the item look much more larger & everything is more magnified & exaggerated than in actuality. When you get this in hand, you do not notice as much, what otherwise looks more extreme in the photos. So to get an accurate idea of how big this is, please pull out a tape measure/ruler & compare to my given measurements.
