IN THE LAST 3 PHOTOS,THERE ARE A DYNAMITE PAIR OF OLD PAWN ZUNI ‘SCREW BACK’ EARRINGS THAT ARE POSTED UNDER THE ‘EARRINGS 3’ CATEGORY.
SPECIFICS:
ARTIST: Unknown
TRIBAL AFFILIATION: Zuni Pueblo, NM
CIRCA MADE: 1970 (Give or take) I am actually giving this a timeline at around 1970 and that is based on this piece being hallmarked, since Native American artists generally did not start stamping their hallmarks till sometime in the 1960’s. So even though I do think it’s earlier than 1970’s,it would be safe to say the 70’s.But could be earlier.
STONE: Natural Turquoise-Has maintained it’s blue color after all these years, which tells me this is a ‘harder’ grade, which equates to ‘quality’
CUTS: Needlepoint
BEZEL: Serrated
MEASUREMENT: 1-3/8" Round
WEIGHT: 6.7 Grams
METAL: Sterling (Professionally tested 2X's)
FINISH: Darkened naturally developed patina
CONDITION: Extremely well kept Very condition-The pin has maintained it straight form & works like new. Turquoise seem to be secure in their bezels., There is a natural patina development. ** It is not recommended you take this off **. I do not know what kind of household habits any previous own had, etc.
HALLMARK: CA

PLEASE READ BEFORE PURCHASING:
*****I do not consider myself a 'professional photographer" but I do try to give you photos that are 'realistic in color.. Please understand that all screen monitors are different, so the materials can look brighter (or duller) ,more intense or less intense from one computer/phone to the next.
In order to give you close up photos so I can provide you with all the detail, the photos can tend to make the item look GIGANTIC & everything is more magnified & exaggerated than in actuality. When you get this in hand, you do not notice as much, what otherwise looks more extreme in the photos. So to get an accurate idea of how big this is, please pull out a tape measure/ruler & compare to my given measurements.
