If anyone can design overwhelmingly exquisite style jewelry that came out of the earlier days of Taxco,it was the work of Margarita! This is the perfect example of the fine work she did,that had not only aesthetic appeal,but workmanship that goes along with her pieces(That is,if you can find them!)

Perfectly corrugated design that is made of thick gauge sterling wire that shows fluidity in curvature & design..A graduated quadruple set of well domed amethyst cones that can remind you somewhat of what was used in Antonio Pineda's jewelry.They come with natural internal inclusions & if you look through a loupe,you can see every movement of the cut as they were formed.

This lacks the Eagle hallmark & was made before 1948 when the Eagle stamp was introduced in Mexico & was mandatory that it be put on every piece being coming out of Mexico.It has been well kept.

The original pin broke when I tried it on,so I recently replaced the whole pin portion by my laser jeweler,who doesn't have to use any heat in order to solder,so therefor NO original patina was lost, nor were any of the stones removed to solder.Laser jewelers are what you need when dealing with vintage jewelry because of these reasons! A piece like this,should be in every serious vintage Mexican jewelry collectors collection & truly is a piece to be proudly worn!
