This pendant is made by Rick Werito, who is a skilled Navajo artist who does nothing but these undeniable -traditional Navajo style pieces,with this pendant being the perfect example of what I'm referring to..

Working with a large cut of all natural blue Kingman turquoise, Rick chose to beautifully display it with traditional Navajo work, where he chiseled the sterling & used hand made 1/4 moon appliques that follow the oval form & then added little conchos that he created himself.. The pendant hangs from a hand made tooled bale, which has about a 12.5 mm opening but you don't want to go with anything larger than a 12 mm bead size,(max) since you need the pendant to move & breath with whatever you put it on.

It's not over the top large,nor is it so small that it can't be seen, but rather it has a 'just right' sort of look. Perfect piece to go with all your Southwest Native American turquoise jewelry!
