THE BALE CONVERTERS:

Made exclusively for Plata de Santa Fe Jewelry by Navajo artisan “Freddy”, these bale converters are a “must-have” when you have a pendant with a shepherd’s hook connection that won’t attach to your Navajo Pearl necklace or any other beaded necklace. These are the answer for a few reasons.. Maybe the beads of your necklace are too large for the shepherd’s hook to go over or maybe the beads are strung so tightly together that they don’t spread wide enough so the hook can sit on the necklace’s stringing material or possibly, you may have a “multi strand” necklace that the shepherds hook won’t fit over the entirety of the strands & if you put it over a strand or 2, the weight of the pendant can weaken the stringing material. (please zoom in on all the provided photos, since they play a major role to the description! )

So depending on the diameter (Or bead) size of your necklace, all you would do is slide these under the shepherds hook on the pendant & now you can wear your necklace! Plus the stress is taken off of the necklace and now is placed on the bale.

For those of you who may have a Federico pendant, these work especially well, since he puts a wider shepherds hook on his pendants, which are harder to put on some strands of necklaces.
