This pendant was apart of a great collection that came from a serious Native American collector who was downsizing & said she had it for some time.

This pendant has some of the most beautiful turquoise in it where you can just see the quality! The cross is made with a "Sampler" variety, meaning that it's not made with turquoise from just one mine,but many.The beauty about a "Sampler" is for the fact that you get some amazing contrasts,since each mine has different blue tones or green tones, that go from light to dark & each have matrix patterns that many times are signature to that mine,with some being brown,some being black & so on.It's designed with turquoise from both Arizona & Nevada.The turquoise sits in a super fine sawtooth serrated bezel & has little hand made tiny conchos & beads that are placed at the tips.

Although a cross,the center seems to appear like a turquoise "Star"..It's not over the top in size,nor weight,but the quality of the turquoise & the workmanship, speaks volumes!

It has a shepherds hook to hang on your favorite Navajo pearls on & because of it's size, I personally wouldn't put it on anything longer than a 20-22".necklace. This would look best with a necklace length from 17"-22".If your beads are bigger,you may have to open the hook up a bit to allow it to hook over their diameter.This has to be done with ease,since sterling is soft.
