A rock lovers dream,Azurite is probably one of the phenomenal minerals out there.. It's name comes from it's striking azure-blue color, which people sometimes can confuse it with lapis & especially when the cut is WITHOUT the green Malachite that it often occurs with. THE NECKLACE

Sometimes an artist has to take a supporting role by acknowledging that nature sometimes is hard to surpass. When you got something so attractive as Azurite, the sterling work should be kept simple to accentuate and bring out the stone's natural beauty to put the sole focus where it should be & that's on the stones!

One thing that can't be denied & that is the incredible character these rocks have! This necklace has it ALL when it comes to the color & character known to this AMAZING stone & each cut couldn't have been picked any better to show everything it offers! It's made where the center displays 9 panels & on these panels, the top stones coordinate with the neckline stones & are basically the same shape & size, but are laid in a 'vertical' pattern with the pointed part facing downward, where as on the neckline,they're laid in a horizontal pattern.. Anchored from 2 heavy gauge jump rings, are the larger pear shape drops. These drops aren't no skimpy stones ladies, but rather some chunky cuts, so they're definitely noticeable!! Each stone is set in a contemporary sterling finishing.

Wear this with any Azurite pieces you may have,but being the color is so close to & looks like Lapis,you can even pair it with other Lapis pieces! Other suggestions would be to pair it with all sterling jewelry or Malachite(Which is apart of Azurite)
