A PERSONAL WORD:

When I am scouting for jewelry, I look for those pieces that give me no hesitation & are an immediate “Yes”,  We all love jewelry that speaks to us & this one definitely screamed at me! 

This is a necklace that Federico was so proud of, that he decided to use it for his 2025 Magazine Ad (See photo 2) Just so you know, he is extremely selective about what he chooses for his ads, so that tells you something about the necklace!! . I did find out after purchasing it, that there was at least 8 others who wanted it.(Gee, If they were to only come a little sooner!) I have been working with Federico now for years now & have purchased some of his FINEST and this is one I can now proudly add to my inventory as being one of his best..

THE SQUASH BLOSSOM:

One thing that absolutely cannot be denied is that this piece is a genuine conversation starter. It undoubtedly required an artistic, creative, and visionary eye to imagine in advance exactly what could emerge from these shapes when they are thoughtfully arranged together. Who could have anticipated such a stunning result? This, to say the least, will bring a genuine smile not only to the wearer but also to everyone you encounter. This piece is designed to catch the eye and spark a ton of interest & without a doubt, you’ll have people coming up to you, complimenting you every time you wear it, making it a truly memorable addition to any collection you may own!!!This necklace is cheerful, with such a super happy vibe to it & is a piece of wearable art. 

Having a face that only a mother could truly love, each of the 10 side panels are identically mirrored to match the next & are exactly the same in design as the large 5.25” tall center.. Each are meticulously designed with a round Spiny Oyster cut that serves as the distinctive face. Positioned above this face are vibrant, linear-shaped Abalone cuts that evoke either hair standing on end—almost as if the figure is ‘wowed’ or surprised by something—or perhaps even suggest a traditional headdress. Tiny round Abalone cuts, bezel set with precision, form expressive eyes and a mouth. An oval cut represents the body, while elongated trapezoidal cuts define the arms and legs of the ‘offspring.’ On the “Matriarch,” her arms are depicted with large oval cuts. If you take a close look, especially at photos 8 and 9, you’ll notice how the natural shape of the oyster shell has been cleverly utilized for her legs, incorporating the shell’s innate ripples—this really enhances the visual aesthetics of the entire necklace!! One of the elements I personally adore about the design is the Abalone “heart” hands, along with the clever detail of their Abalone shoes, which don’t face straight forward but are instead placed sharply to the left and right sides. All the materials are bezel set onto a single platform with a generous use of sterling silver, adding to the durability and elegance of the piece (see the backside in the last photo for reference).

*****I do not consider myself a 'professional photographer" but I do try my hardest to give you photos that are 'realistic" in color..I do however find that photographing anything with 'yellow' in it, (green & orange)a little harder to photograph,since this color can come up much more vivid than other colors,,so please take this into consideration & go through all photos to see any variation. Remember, every monitor is different since some can show something to be more vivid and other monitors can make it look duller.

To give you close up photos,pictures tend to make the item look much more larger & everything is more magnified than in actuality. Close up's make the item look so large & then you get it in hand & you are let down since the item is much smaller than how they looked in the photos..So to get an accurate idea of how big this is,please either check it out on the mannequin to get a rough idea (see photos) or you can pull out a tape measure & compare to my given measurements
