ABOUT LARRY COOLEY'S TURQUOISE COLLECTION:

The Kingman turquoise that this is made with, came from the late "Larry Cooley's" private collection. Mr. Cooley was one of the most reputably known turquoise vendors in the industry, who artists would go to when they wanted the highest quality turquoise for their own designs.. The turquoise he collected & sold, were qualities that only "Turquoise Connoisseur's" would buy.. He had a vast collection of nothing BUT premium turquoise that were all natural, since his rocks were mined long before they started treating turquoise..

After Larry's passing, everyone was willing to pay whatever price they had to, just to have his whole collection, but because of Federico's long time connection with Larry & Larry's family, he was fortunate to purchase this 'once in a lifetime' limited & very pricy collection(These reasons are reflected in price) So once these stones are used up, they're gone! In this business, all you had to say was "Larry Cooley Turquoise" & that was all your had to say...

A NOTE:
**Anything made with Larry's turquoise comes with a higher price tag,due to the quality & limited supply*** If you're like many of us who are big fan's of Cooley's turquoise, then please check out my other listings, by putting "Larry's" name in the search when you're on my front page.**

THE NECKLACE:

There is truly nothing that transforms southwestern jewelry into a refined and sophisticated form of elegance quite like when you pair this remarkable duo together! Personally, turquoise and pearls are like a match made in heaven—they complement each other beautifully and do nothing but elevate southwestern jewelry to an entirely new level of style and grace, taking it well above and beyond the ordinary!

Like “the perfect marriage,” or perhaps more accurately, like something “that fits like a glove,” Federico understands all too well how beautifully these elements complement each other. It’s clear, even from a glance, that this pairing enhances the unique qualities of each piece. I’m starting to believe that this harmonious combination has become one of his absolute favorite duos!(See especially the “Necklace” and “Ring” listings)

This isn’t the biggest nor heaviest of his necklaces, but rather, it’s a necklace that’s has that “just enough’ look & weight, that will be perfect for just about any wearer.

The Kingman turquoise used in this design features a unique and captivating coloring that leans towards a soft pastel-like teal blue shade. These free-form cuts remind me somewhat of, and bear a resemblance to, the beautiful blue Royston turquoise, known for its gorgeous hues. Each of the cuts includes a brown matrix, with some pieces showcasing a striking metallic coppery appearance that adds an extra layer of visual interest. What determines the shape of each panel, including the centerpiece, is the natural free-form shape of each individual turquoise cut. Although the shapes vary from one piece to another, the size of the turquoise stones remains within a consistent range, ensuring the panels complement each other well and maintain a harmonious overall design. All the panels are beautifully complemented by big, fat pearls that are nice & chunky, making them truly eye-catching and very noticeable!

Whether you’re attending a wedding, or just have an elaborate high end event you’re attending, this is a necklace that’s sure to bring on those great compliments!

PRICING IS BASED ON:

****The Artist, the artists reputation, turquoise quality, amount of carats, the cost per carat for this quality, also with everything increasing in price, it’s also the cost that sterling has gone up to, as well as having to pay their silversmith work crew to do the work that Federico creates & the time involved to make this, which are all reflected in the price****

PLEASE READ BEFORE PURCHASING:

I do not consider myself a 'professional photographer" but I do try my hardest to give you photos that are 'realistic" in color. Please realize that all monitors are different, so the materials can look more vivid (or duller) from one computer to the next.

To give you close up photos, pictures tend to make the item look much more larger & everything is more magnified than in actuality. So what appears to be ‘major’ in the design, you normally don’t see these things once in hand unless it’s pointed out. So to get an accurate idea of how big this is, please either check it out being worn to get a rough idea (see photos) or you can pull out a tape measure & compare to my given measurements above.
