At 1st glance you would think these Navajo Pearl beads have to be commercially made by some overseas manufacture because it would be normal to think that no one can make something this small by hand, but Navajo artist bead master Dorinda Mariano validates they can be made & are made, in this little miniature tiny,tiny size!!

These are "Authentic Navajo made-Navajo Pearl earrings" & are NOT ones that sellers are calling "Navajo Pearls" that are not hand made, nor are they made by Native Americans. These are Native made & completely made by HAND from start to finish, where each bead started with sheet sterling that were then cut into circles of the size she wants the beads to be & then are domed by hand & finally the 2 domed half's are soldered together to create the bead. Each are hand drilled & then finished by the hands of Dorinda. You can even witness where some of the half's connect..I couldn’t even start to imagine making these!! Especially this small!! They are miniaturized sized & truthfully, are the hardest to do when your doing this small of a bead!

There are 3 graduated strands that lay looped in a tear drop form & which lay inside the other when laid flat, but when hanging, the shortest & longest bottom strand lay basically the same, whereas the 2nd strand lays turned, which give them a unique look! (See photos 2 & 4) The strands hang from an 11 mm round slightly domed disk. The finish has such a beautiful grey tone because of their satin/brushed matte finishing.

What a perfect earring to pair with Navajo Pearl necklaces, along with anything with the same finishing! These can be worn when you're doing a day of all sterling or try pairing them with colored stone!
