THE ARTISTS:

"Lorenzo & Jerilyn Chee" are a Mesa, Arizonan based husband & wife team that are putting out some nice hand made pieces, where their work can go from being very traditional Navajo in style to contemporary. Like many Navajo children, many come up as jewelers since they're around this environment day & night & it was Lorenzo's father "TIM YAZZIE" who took the young Lorenzo under his wing & taught him the ropes of working with metal & stone..

THE EARRINGS:

Having a very elegant southwestern aesthetic, these are made in a classic cluster design that women always find appealing! They're made with light color Kingman turquoise & are designed where the top & bottom design is duplicated, but with the tops being slightly smaller than the bottom .The tear drop cuts in the center are highlighted by a cluster halo of little 3 mm round cabochons that sit in their own serrated sawtooth bezels.

Because of their contemporary ambience,these are an earring that can be worn in or out of the southwest & can be worn with or without a southwestern jewelry collection! I have no doubt that these can't take any look up a notch or 2 & can be worn day OR night! The weight is not as heavy as some southwestern earrings since Lorenzo used a lighter gauge sterling.(Read 'combined weight' below for you to decide)
