Elegantly designed in a very noticeable size, these earrings are made with the glistening beauty of Mother of Pearl that is surround by a halo cluster of smaller fresh water pearls.
The pearls don’t weigh much as a rule, but when you add the generous amount of sterling used here, it really contributes to the earrings’ substantial weight—(70 grams to be exact!) —which gives them some serious heft for their 2” size. There was absolutely no practical choice but to make these into a clip-on earring. The pearls are set in contemporary, mirror-polished sterling silver, creating a sleek, modern contrast to their natural luster.

Also factored into the price for these, is the artist’s name , his reputation and years in the business, the number of carats and the cost per carat for the materials used.. Also included is the need to compensate the artisan (And or staff) for their time and expertise required to create these.
