A WORD ABOUT EMMA LINCOLN:
It’s been almost 11 years since this remarkable artist, so beloved by the industry, passed away. Her loss was a profound shock, since few could match the caliber of talent she had brought to the industry.. Emma wasn’t just a jeweler; she was a true artist who created some of the most elegant chandelier earrings. Because of that distinctive style and the thoughtful way in which she designed each piece, it’s no wonder her work was in such high demand at the time. Collectors and retailers alike requested her pieces by name.
Considered a ‘Master Jeweler’ among her peers, Emma was born in Brigham City, Utah but raised in Vanderwagon, New Mexico, later relocating to Gallup, New Mexico. A devoted wife and mother of five, she faced great hardship when her husband passed away while their children were still young, leaving her to raise them alone. She began silversmithing at just 15 years old, and it was her skill and dedication as a silversmith that enabled her to provide for and support her family through those difficult years.
These earrings were an exceptionally RARE find, and the moment I saw them I knew at once whose work they were, since I carried nearly everything she ever made. (At that time, they were also much less expensive!!:-) I snatched them up faster than you could blink, knowing you rarely see her pieces in stores anymore and most have passed into collectors’ hands. I felt incredibly fortunate to be in the right place at the right time.
THE EARRINGS:
Elegant and feminine while radiating a distinctly powerful southwestern vibe, these are designed in a 6-tier (with the dangles) chandelier “ladder” design that reach a lengthy 4” long. Each tier is linked by small ‘o’ rings, allowing generous movement and a sway with every step.
They’re made from various shaped cuts of Carico Lake turquoise, mined in Nevada. The earrings feature ‘mirrored’ cuts, so each stone’s shape, size, and color are carefully hand picked to match its partner. Every cut was selected for its minimal matrix, giving a clean, consistent appearance. One earring is just a touch greener than the other, but you’d hardly notice unless it’s pointed out, since everything else about the pair is so closely mirrored. The stones are bezel set atop of a lightly oxidized satin like finished sterling.
Because of the metal gauge,& open space within the earring, allows these to be very wearable in weight! These are hand made artisanal earrings and are not replaceable. So the price is firm.
These are at least 10 years old, so they are ‘Old Stock” that have not been sold nor worn.

In order to give you close up photos so I can provide you with all the detail, can tend to make the item look GIGANTIC & everything is more magnified & exaggerated than in actuality..
***I normally show earrings on the ear, but due to recent eye surgery, I apologize, but I will have to take one after I heal. I’ll do my best to remember to do this! So in the meantime, in order to get an idea of how big these are, if you have a tape measure you can take that measurement & compare to my given measurements above.***
