Made with an unquestioning Navajo edginess, Navajo artisan Leslie Yazzie stays true to her Navajo roots that were passed along to her from her ancestors from generations ago & has followed in their footsteps by keeping traditional Navajo jewelry alive..

From beginning to end, everything about these were made by hand..From the domed repousse floral tops to the hand cut-tear drop shaped bottoms, to all the wonderful hand tooled work that turned these into works of "metal art" for the ears! The bottom drop displays a softening effect that is based on the scalloped outline & then one by one, she used the appropriate stamps that follow this scalloped border.

They are finished in a satin/matte finished sterling which I personally feel brings out the beauty of the sterling & is a finishing that you don't have to polish! Because Leslie used a durable, but lighter gauge sterling,allows these to be very wearable in weight! (See weights below for you to decide)
