MEET THE ARTIST:

You might say that Mary Ellen Pease is the matriarch of the "WILLIE" family & happens to be the mother of some of the most reputable Navajo silversmiths who have all made a name for themselves in the jewelry industry..Some of her children are Ronnie, Lonnie, Rudy,(Married to Happy Piasso-Found in my listings) Juan, Melissa Willie & just some of her grandchildren are "Tawney, Cooper, Dakota & Shamenika Willie"..(All of these names can be found in my listings)

It was Lonnie however that taught everyone of his family members all they know, including Mary Ellen & then from there, they learned through trial & error"..Lonnie is now retired & even though we can't find much made by him, we see his years of knowledge through the work of these family members, that actually were very blessed to have someone that's so highly skilled, to have mentored them!
