It is designed in a hinge style that is made of 1/4" sterling all the way around.The faceted pear shape cuts of synthetic Alexandrite, sit in the most incredible bezel that looks like a crown that a King would wear.The backs are left open so you get maximum color & sparkle no matter how bright or low the light is. The color changes from deep purple to a blue sapphire color & then can have a red berry color under other lights.

It is Made by Taxco artist "LC" & have nothing to give you, as far as a name or any past..This pre-dates & lacks the "Eagle" stamp that was used on pieces after the year 1948, for taxation on every piece being sold in & out of Mexico.This is Pre-1948.
It is in very well condition for being in the 70 + year old condition !!

The stone color is a deep rich purple/sapphire tone & not pale.(See Photos 1 & 2 FOR ACCURACY)
