ABOUT THE ARTIST:
Navajo metalsmith Calvin Belin is a 52 year old man who has been making jewelry since he was 12 & like most Navajo children, they are raised in a household of other jeweler's, who are mainly their parents..He worked under his father who had the young Calvin,making bezels for his jewelry.. He lives in the heart of the Navajo Reservation in the town of Crownpoint,NM.

THE CUFF:
Designed with both blue & green Royston,Calvin picked some pretty cuts that show off a sampler variety of just some of what this mine produces. Royston is one of those mines that people ask for by name & for validating reasons..It produces some gorgeous sky blues colors to the most mesmerizing variety of greens that can go from minty green colors to these phenomenal deep foresty greens, that can literally make your heart skip a beat!
Each one of these stones have their own fingerprint character & have an obvious quality that only natural/un-treated turquoise can offer..The stones lay in a 'row' style & will cover the top of the wrist.The rocks are wire wrapped & has beaded accents that lay between each stone & sit atop of a heavy 12 gauge sterling sheet that has been lightly oxidized & left darker in the crevices of the stamping to give more accentuation to those areas.

WRIST SIZE:
This is made for a large sized wrist that would be fit for one that has a 'fleshier" wrist . The wide 1-3/8" gap opening helps for a wrist that's larger boned. Cuffs fit different than any other type bracelet & it is important they fit right!
