ABOUT THE ARTIST:

Only 32 years old & asked for by name, Tyler has made quite the name for himself in the Native American jewelry industry.. Regardless of the amount of artisans out there, Tyler's work stands apart from others, since he is producing some phenomenal looking cluster work in todays market..

As a teen, Tyler could not escape the art of making jewelry, since he happens to be the son of the late Navajo artist, "DEAN BROWN".. Dean taught the young Tyler the art of making traditional Navajo jewelry where he taught him 1st with earrings, where he had him working with super light gauge 32 gauge sterling, so if there were many mistakes(Which there were!) it wouldn't be too, too costly.

Tyler comes from a long list of well known "Navajo Royalty" with just a few of his uncles being Hemerson Brown, Anthony Skeets & Lee Charley. His cousin is Mathew Charley & the late KIRK SMITH was a 2nd uncle.. He LOVES working with vivid colored materials & is always working on trying to come up with new ways to create different style cluster pieces, which is one of his favorite style's that he loves making!

THE CUFF:

Believe it or not, there are women like myself out there, who have this small of a wrist size & it's extremely rare & hard trying to find a high quality, well made cuff to fit!!! That's why I asked Tyler to make me some small wrist sized cuff's since they are THAT hard to find!! Yes those of us who are small boned know how hard it is to find a good looking cuff to fit, but are always left feeling excluded & many times left out of the picture.. So being a big fan of Tyler's cluster work,I asked him to give me the same thing that his beautifully made larger sized cluster cuff's have, but in a pint size version! (To see others made for a smaller wrist, put Tyler's name in the search bar when you're on my front page)

This EXQUISITE looking cuff is made with hand select cuts of fine Mediterranean Coral, where the color surprisingly matches throughout each & every cut! It takes a well trained eye to pick them this well! The cuff is made up of 3 panels where the coral cuts in the center panel alternate in shape. The longer/lean ovals dominate the pattern layout, while the smaller tear drop cuts are filled in between each oval. The side panels are designed in a 1/2 moon shape .The larger ovals have a twisted wire wrapping & really adds a bit of 'wow' to the design. The panels are soldered atop of a 5 wire spread to accommodate the center's size.

***FYI***:

This Coral is from "Old Stock" since Coral is now on the rare list & can no longer be fished, nor brought in the USA.(These reasons are reflected in the price)Because of supply, buyers are grabbing all they can for these reasons.. Coral has gotten so ridiculously expensive, which makes it unaffordable for many artists to even consider buying and especially for these premium grades. In the last few years, Coral's cost has skyrocketed up to 500% & compared to a few years ago when it was at about $250 a gram, it is now over $1000 a gram & the less availability, the higher the price will increase & will never be the price tomorrow, as it is today.

**Price is based on: Artist, coral quality, cost per carat, amount of carats, the availability, sterling cost & Tyler's time are all reflected in price**

** **Since cuff's are one of the only bracelet's that have to fit right, it does help to know your wrist size..So please, before purchasing, please click on this link: How To Fit A Cuff **I have other cuff listings by Tyler, plus rings & pendants, so please go to those categories to see them!
