THE CUFF:
Leon takes us back to a time with techniques known to how his Navajo ancestors made jewelry decades ago..With so many jewelry supplies having 'ready made' pieces for jewelry making,Leon took the "Old School" route with this piece,by literally doing everything by hand.

Beautifully balanced atop of a hand cut tri split-super heavy 8 gauge stamped shank,sits a huge square cut of deep green Royston turquoise that has a nice beveled domed top with a flattened perimeter on all 4 sides.The shank is so thick & because of the gauge of sterling makes this non-adjustable & makes this one solid & extremely strong,hefty feeling piece.

Creating a frame in order to help put the focus on the turquoise, is an ornate halo of star conchos that were made by Leon melting the sterling into little beads & then hand pounding & forming each one into shape so they can then be hand stamped. The latter is a time consuming process,considering all the pounding & shaping going on,especially when you think of the weight of the sterling that's be worked with! But this is the quality of workmanship you'll get with Leon,is all the the time put in with each & every piece! Outside the conchos is a vertically placed stamped bar & fan shape accents..

This is hand finished with THE most drop dead 'Satin-Oxidized-Vintage Revival' finishing that really makes the sterling come to life! It is simply beautiful & striking!!!
