Anthony resides in Gallup,NM & is known for not only his traditional Navajo work,but his one time use Tufa cast jewelry. For those who aren’t familiar with tufa casting,it’s a technique where the artist draws their art into the tufa & then pours the hot molten silver into the tufa stone,thus creating the piece that is to be worn.Anthony’s tufa is used one time only,which makes his jewelry truly one of a kind,since the tufa is no longer used & the design cannot be duplicated the same way twice.

He is also known for using various textures,polishes,geometric shapes & free hand designs,which you will witness in this beautifully designed cuff.Anthony is the father of Sandra Zambrano who is another artist I carry, that makes Hand Made Navajo Pearl bench bead necklaces for me.(See listings)

This is designed with a night time Southwest landscape scene that makes you feel as if your right there while walking on the sandy & rocky grounds of New Mexico & up to the Mesas during the evening..The way he designed this gives you a real sense of the SW,while looking to appear somewhere around nearby reservations..The beads you see,replicate evening stars..It is done with geometric lines & due to creating this in Tufa, it is nice & grainy & full of texture!!There is some good weight to this & feels very durable & thick,but yet comfortable!
