THE CUFF:
Selfishly stealing the spotlight, Aaron made sure to pick a large enough cut of Onyx to capture a wide audience! To say this is a shy size cuff, would be an understatement! Personally speaking, there is nothing more classy than when you pair onyx with sterling & especially when the sterling has been given this type of finishing!
Artistically framing this HUGE cut,he gave a traditional Navajo look to the setting that surrounds the stone, by doing saw work on a thick 1/2 triangular wire & by using a graduating size of little star conchos that he made by melting the sterling into little beads & then stamping them one by one.
This generous sized face then sits on a 5 spread-split shank to balance the face's size & then the remaining part of the shank is tooled through to the ends out with precise stamp work. The dark oxidation is left deep in the crevices to accentuate the design & give contrast to the more polished sterling.
**This is for a smaller boned-medium size wrist.Even though it has a larger 5-3/4" interior & measures at a 6-1/2" total wrist size, the smaller 3/4" gap is great for women that have a little larger wrist,but are smaller boned..This small gap helps the cuff to stay put & prevents it from flopping around & possibly falling off! ( If the gap was larger, the cuff would flop around) **
