ABOUT WHITE BUFFALO:
Primarily found in the Dry Creek Mine located in Tonopah, Nevada, White Buffalo's distinctive white color is attributed to the absence of heavy metals such as copper, iron, or zinc. These metals are typically responsible for giving turquoise its striking blue or green hues, or combinations thereof. While it is frequently referred to as “white turquoise,” it is important to note that it is not actually turquoise but has certain visual similarities that can lead to this misconception. The chemical breakdown of this captivating rock consists primarily of magnesite and alumite.
Increasingly, within the jewelry industry, there has been a noticeable rise in its popularity, with more & more customers specifically asking for it by name. Buyers from all around the globe are in awe of this unique stone and cannot seem to get enough due to its striking “black chert” characteristics, which add to its distinct allure and character. It is one of those versatile stones that pairs wonderfully with nearly any color wardrobe and particularly enhances the outfits of those who frequently wear black, white, or a chic combination of both colors!
THE CUFF:
What better way to beautifully accentuate some stunning stones, than with exquisitely designed metalwork that complements their natural elegance! I have proudly carried Al’s jewelry for quite some time now, so I’ve carefully stocked many of his incredibly pieces. While I truly love them all for their unique beauty and his exceptional workmanship as an artist, there definitely has been some pieces that stand out more than others. This particular piece is one that genuinely stands out, not only in its design and allure, but for the elegantly shaped stones that were chose!!
Laid out in a 5 stone row style, these 5 cuts are not in the least skimpy or will go unnoticed! They are chunky in size, which makes their presence even greater! They are bezel set atop of a beautifully designed heavy 10 gauge sterling shank that is scalloped in shape. on the perimeter.(The lower the gauge number, the heavier the metal) At each point where it’s scalloped, Al used the appropriate stamp that compliments the shape. Leading to the gap, there is some deep stamp work, where the oxidation is left in the crevices to accentuate the design.
SIZING:
This cuff is made for a medium size wrist that’s on the “Smaller” side of medium.. It has a 1-1/8” gap opening which is great for a wrist that’s not so "fleshy and meatier". Because of the heavy gauge sterling, this is not adjustable... So it does help to know your wrist size & what gap you need to go over the arm comfortably before purchasing, since cuffs fit different than any other type bracelet.

PRICING IS BASED ON: You are paying for the name of the Artist & his reputation, the sterling cost at time of purchase, the artist’s time, the size of these rocks & how many carats there are and the cost per carat for each of these cuts, which are all reflected in price
