DESCRIPTION:

This handsome looking old style cuff is made the old school way, where it's totally made by hand & is made of ingot sterling that has been poured into tufa stone..Tufa is known to give the metal texture, but with this cuff,the Tufa texture was then pounded out by hand forging the metal through pounding & working the metal over & over into shape & then later filed & stamped.

Because of this not being made of sheet sterling,but rather made in ingot,the artist has more control as to how thick they want the shank.This one is super thick & literally non-bendable by hand! It is extremely durable & can be felt on the wrist.

A hand picked rectangular piece of natural blue/teal Fox turquoise sits in a old style bezel that is sawed into in each of the 4 corners.(see photo 4)

It lays beautifully on the wrist & is simplistic enough for a man & would look as sharp on a man's wrist (Measurements below) as it would on a woman's! Because of the straight perimeter,you can wear this alone or stack it will others!

Personally, it has a 5/8" width size with a 10 foot tall style!! The cuff is given a real southwestern overall look that looks like it stepped out of 1940's Santa Fe!

ABOUT 'FALCON TRADING & BUBBA SHACKELFORD':

Falcon Trading company was started in the early 1980s by Cowboy Bubba Shackelford in Prescott Arizona. Bubba got his earliest start from Jock & Al Favour who are apart of a group of anglo artists(Jesse Robbins for one & who actually got his start working with Bubba at Falcon), Charlie Favour,Joe Eby,Dennis Hogan,etc.) and all whose work leans toward their love for "Old Pawn" Native American styles & all whose work is literally sizzling on the market!!!

Bubba began by selling his jewelry out of his Ford Falcon automobile all over town, giving Falcon Trading Company it's namesake. Bubba produced FTC jewelry for many years afterwards, until his sight began to fade from diabetes. In 2014 Bubba took on a young student at that time named Joe O'Neill, who is now the head silversmith at Falcon Trading, and works with Bubba daily to continue on the tradition of creating beautiful tufa cast ingot jewelry in the southwestern/Santa Fe style. Bubba demanded that the jewelry be made right & Nothing is ever put through without 1st having Bubba's approval!
