ABOUT THE ARTIST:

32 year old Cooper was born, raised & is presently residing on the Navajo reservation in the town of To’hajiilee,(Toe-hah-jah-lee) NM, which is just west of Albuquerque. Cooper was blessed to be born into a large family who are rich in Navajo tradition & who are all jeweler's who've made a name for themselves in the jewelry industry. .Cooper's the son of Lonnie Willie (Lonnie’s the brother to Ronnie Willie) & the brother to Tawney Willie & learned to make traditional Navajo jewelry from his father Lonnie ,who happens to be the one who taught all the family, including Ronnie, as well as his own parents.

Like Lonnie did with Tawney,he started Cooper out by having him work with copper,so if there were any mistakes,it wouldn't be at such a costly price..He then taught him stampwork by having him practice with nickel silver.Cooper has taken what he's learned from Lonnie by putting to good use all those valuable techniques, while developing his own style & while doing it in his own way.

Having mathematical & analytical characteristics forces him to be the 'perfectionist' he is & one thing you'll never find him making is "mediocre jewelry". No matter the price or the size,he wouldn't dare make anything less than the best..This is an artist who is gifted with an excellent "attention to detail" eye that are spot on & impeccable! His lines are clean & precise & everything has to be in perfect balance & very uniform!

His specialty is doing heavy gauge Men’s jewelry, with the focus on extremely masculine men's rings,He's a "Manly-Man's" artist & is highly sought out by men because of this.

A NOTE:

These are BIG sized rings for BIG sized men!!! These are just 2 of the 12 rings that Cooper made for me & are the largest I have. All of them come in large, hard to find XL sizes & XXL sizes! And It's for these "hard to find" large sizes, is the reason why I couldn't have asked any better artist that specializes in masculine men's rings than Cooper, to make them! Men with large fingers know how hard it is to find a ring a great turquoise ring that fits, with many time's being forced to get one custom made! So whether you're a Football player, truck driver, construction worker or a man who just has a large finger & would love to wear a dynamite turquoise ring with a true masculine edginess, I now have them in stock!

THE RINGS:

Both of these are similar in design, with the difference being that one has a beautifully beveled oval cut of green Kingman, while the other has a huge chunky cut of blue Kingman.. Another difference in the 2 rings is in the shank, where the green has the diamond shaped accents on the shanks underside, (see photo) while the blue has wire.(Photo 13)

These are 'off the charts' HUGE regarding in ring size! If you zoom in on photos 15 & 16 you'll see how my ring mandrel only goes to a 15.When I put both rings on it & they slip right off!! There is a 5/8" difference from one size to the next on my mandrel & if I go 5/8" from the size 15 mark,(Which would be a size 16) the ring keeps sliding all the way past that, slipping right off! So my guess is these are at least a 16-1/2,but could be a 16-3/4 or possibly a 17! So I'm sorry that I can't give an exact size like I would like, but would be safe at saying they're at least a 16-1/2.

If you zoom in on photo 14, I measured the ""inside"" of the shank from one end to the other end. So to see if these may fit, what you would do is take a ring that fits you well & then take a paper measure & then starting at the 1" mark, see where the tape measures to on the other end.. You want to measure the part of the ring that sits AGAINST your finger,NOT the outside part, like when were wearing it. The reason is, any design on the top would give you an inaccurate reading. If you need my help, please don't hesitate contacting me! I'd be more than willing to help guide you.

** If you zoom in on the last photo, you’ll find a photo of all the rings & their sizes that are in my listings or will be in my listings! **

PLEASE NOTE:
In order to give you close up photos so I can provide you with all the detail, can tend to make the item look much more larger & everything is more magnified than in actuality. Close up's make the item look so large & then you get it in hand & you are shocked since the item is much smaller than how they looked in the photos..So to get an accurate idea of how big this is, please zoom in on the photos where you can see it on the finger, or you can do is pull out a tape measure & compare to my given measurements.
