Although New Mexico based Navajo Ronnie Willie calls To’hajiilee,NM his home,he presently resides in ABQ.NM.. Ronnie is just one of many of his family members who are all jewelry artists & all of them have made a name in the industry. Ronnie learned like many Navajo children do where just about everyone in the family makes jewelry & it's hard not to be an artist when that's your sole environment. All of the "Willies" have made a name for themselves in the industry & are known worldwide & knowing most of them personally, I would say Ronnie's name is one of the more sought out, although the others aren't too far behind! This style is accredited to one artist & one artist only & that is Ronnie Willie..Ronnie was actually the 1st artist who started making hand soldered fully beaded jewelry & since then, many now have jumped on the bandwagon & now you see this technique being used by many..

The beauty about this ring, is the workmanship it took to make it. Each one of these beads of sterling are melted down into beads & then carefully placed atop of a sterling sheet platform. What I find impressive, is how well the beads match really well in size, which means that Ronnie has to know how much sterling to use to create that size. But remember, these are hand made beads, so you may find 1 or more that could vary.

The shank has a 3/8" width & if you look at photo 6 you'll see how on the underside, one side of the shank is not soldered. So these are adjustable, as long as you're going up in size, not down, since there's no room for it to go down. Professionally speaking, if you need to go up, I wouldn't go more than 1 size, otherwise the shank will be exceeding out from the base of the ring. If you need me to increase the shank up a size, let me know at the time of purchasing.

Being this is all sterling, means it'll go with literally anything, whether you're doing a day of all sterling or one with colored stone! And if you have one of Ronnie's beaded cuff's, well, that's a no brainer! It will make the perfect set!!
