Navajo Artisan-WILL DENETDALE- Too Die For Character! - High Quality-RARE "Palomino" Turquoise Sterling Ring-Size 9
ABOUT THE ARTIST:
Will is a devoted and deeply passionate artist who lives to create beautiful jewelry. He is more than “just a silversmith,” having advanced his knowledge and refined his skills to include working in gold as well.
Born in Fort Defiance, Arizona, he attended school in Gallup, New Mexico, where he remained to work in the production of turquoise and sterling jewelry. He now lives in southern Arizona and creates pieces from his home studio and when he is not spending long hours—often eight a day—designing jewelry, he is on the road attending gem shows and Indian markets.
Since the days of Charles Loloma, more and more traditional Navajo artists like Will are stepping out of the box by incorporating non-traditional stones into their work—using gems such as opals, chrysoprase, ammonite, and other unusual materials you don’t often see in classic Navajo jewelry. That said, when it comes to turquoise he remains committed to tradition: his first choice will always be to work with the highest-quality turquoise stones available on the market.
Will has said that he always hopes his work will become someone's pride and source of happiness, worn with affection and cherished for years, with jewelry that is truly "well loved and well worn."
THE TURQUOISE:
Considered “rare” due to its limited availability, which makes Palomino turquoise a prized and premium find. Palomino turquoise is sourced from a small Nevada mine and is highly sought after by collectors for its distinctive, earthy palette — ranging from creamy tans and soft golds to vibrant and or pale blues and lime greens — often showing unique matrix patterns that add to its character and desirability.
THE RING:
One thing many of us love to see in turquoise is the variety of character and distinct qualities that each mine brings. This ring was purchased precisely for that reason — the stones are striking conversational pieces and need no formal introduction. They truly speak for themselves!
The contrast within both stones is ultra AMAZING, and I can easily see why they captured Will’s attention the moment he saw them. What jeweler in their right mind would even think about passing these up?!!! The stones display a soft, minty-green hue at their core that is beautifully framed by richer, deeper greens and a warm cream-colored matrix, creating a striking and memorable combination.
It’s not overly large nor heavy, but the stones themselves more than compensate, surpassing those modest measurements in presence and beauty!
IF YOU ZOOM IN ON THE LAST 3 PHOTOS,YOU WILL SEE ANOTHER RING & A PENDANT MADE BY WILL AND I WILL TRY TO GET THEM LISTED AS SOON AS POSSIBLE!

PLEASE NOTE WHAT PRICING IS BASED ON :
Factored into the price for this, is the artist’s name and decades old reputation, the rising cost of sterling, the number of carats and the cost per carat for not only the rarity of these stones, but for their quality. Also included is the need to compensate Will’s time & expertise required to create the ring. These are just some of the elements that together explain and contribute to the higher final price of this ring.

PLEASE READ BEFORE PURCHASING:
*****I do not consider myself a 'professional photographer" but I do try my hardest to give you photos that are 'realistic" in color, So please go through all photos to see ANY variation. Oranges & Greens sometimes can be harder to photograph, since they can tend to come up a bit more vibrant in photos, so please take this into consideration & go through all the provided photos to get an idea.
In order to show all the fine detail, close up photos can tend to make the item look GIGANTIC & everything also is more magnified .So to get an accurate idea of how big this is, please view the photos of it on the finger or you can pull out a tape measure & compare to my given measurements in the "Specifics".
